They did a great job repainting our windows and doors where we removed shutters. There was some damage to the window sills which they repaired and did a fantastic job matching the texture of the walls. Price was fair. I would definitely hire them again

JCL painted my home exterior, stained a driveway gate/fence and painted the gate’s iron posts in 2023. Excellent work ethic rarely seen in this day. Attention to detail and quality of workmanship is exceptional. Is proactive in suggesting repairs and then performs those within his available time and expertise. Shows up on time, works cleanly, communicates effectively. Pedro was always one step ahead of my questions, and for this retired project manager that is a quality I rarely see. I feel fortunate to have found JCL and will be a customer for years to come.

If you’re looking for a terrific painter, for either a large or small job, avoid wasting your time or making a mistake with someone else! Get PEDRO and the team at JCL PAINTING to handle it for you!!
Pedro and his excellent team recently accomplished a large and complicated job at my home in North Berkeley, and it was an outstanding experience. The project involved the removal and renovation of almost the entire south façade of the property, involved many complications due to the age of the house, and required working seamlessly with other contractors. NONE of it was a problem.
Pedro is extremely friendly and easy to work with, anticipates and solves complications that arise easily and competently, and creates a beautiful and completely professional finished result. His entire team is friendly, professional, quiet, and does a remarkable job of protecting the entire property AND leaving the worksite immaculate at the end of every day!
I therefore give JCL PAINTING the highest possible recommendation, without any qualification or hesitation whatsoever. I am already looking forward to their help with the remainder of the property in the coming years.

Hired to replace outdated paint color and light fixtures, specifically to handle difficult walls: tall / stairwell / angles. Walkthrough: helpful suggestions and detailed note-taking, which was reflected in the actual job: excellent attention to detail; careful work; done quickly. Results look far better than original condition. Clear recommendation.

JCL Painting is by far the best Painting crew I've ever had the privilege of working with. The attention to detail is by far second to none, if you need Painting done you will not be disappointed.

Pedro and his team delivered excellet service and were very easy to communicate with! The finished job looks so polished and complete, way beyond our expectations. The job was done in several consecutive days, no breaks, and the team showed up at the same time every day, and worked through until late afternoon, with a lunch break midday. Very easy to work with, and they were able to paint additional areas beyond our preliminary request. We highly recommend JCL Painting Contractor, Inc., and Pedro!

ABSOLUTELY SUPERB!!! Pedro and his team exceeded our expectations. JCL Painting Contractor is not a 'slap it on and get it done' kind of company. The amount of attention to detail, care, and professionalism were outstanding.
Pedro and his team were hired to paint the entire inside of our house - 2400 sq ft. - ceilings, walls, doors, closets and cupboards. We had cracks throughout the house - you wouldn't know it now.
Everything looks like it's a newly constructed home. Pedro and his team redid our cabinets - we weren't expecting any way near how well they turned out - you would think they came from the factory floor. The crew sanded, primed, sanded, primed, sanded, painted, sanded one last time and painted them with the final coat. Each door and drawer works better now than when Pedro provided us with his quote.
Each member of the crew was a joy to work with and great greet them each morning as they came to our door. They put in a lot of hours and before each day was done, they cleaned every area they worked in.
Really, there aren't enough words on how well the entire project came out!
Well done Pedro!!!! Needless to say, I would recommend his services to anyone and everyone - in a heartbeat!

We couldn't be happier with our choice of our house painter. He painted our entire interior of 3800 sqft and he also did some work on a rental property of ours. Pedro and his crew were very professional and reliable...always on time every morning. He is a perfectionist and takes pride in his work and has this amazing gift for color selection. On top of that, he is the nicest guy and so easy to work with. I would hire him again and again!
